I have so many things to be thankful to our God almighty. When I decided to come here in the US I had different perception in my mind what my life is going to be. I did not expect to experienced the cruelty of life. Life is good but life can be cruel sometimes. I filed a three months absence of leave even if my fiancé (hubby now) told me to quit my job. I had to make sure that I still have a job to return to if America was not for me. I had trouble adjusting here not only to the weather but with my situations as well. I lost count how many times I said the word divorce, packed my stuff and tried to leave my husband. But I had nowhere else to go. Thank God my husband never quit on me. I easily quit on things especially if it affects me emotionally. Maybe I am a coward that I afraid to face any problems that involves emotions and money. So, thank God I survive the almost 4 years of life here. I am thankful that in those past years God gave me the wisdom to understand things better. I am also thankful to have two wonderful children who give me the reason to appreciate life. My children, husband, family and friends are more than just enough reasons to be Thankful.
