The American Dream

We were renting a house for two years before we decided to buy our own house. Buying a house is never easy in so many aspects. You have to be prepared financially and mentally. The stress that comes with it in owning a house is inevitable but the feeling is sweet. This is like American Dream.

Apparently, the amount we paid for the lease was almost as the same amount we are paying for the monthly mortgage. So, it’s the best decision ever to just rather buy a house than renting it. However, the picture above was taken at our old house. Have you noticed that I folded the curtain? I had to fold the curtain way up high so my children couldn’t reached it. They liked paying with the curtain. They even broke it once so we had to buy a new curtain rod.

In our new home, we have window blinds both in dining area and living room. The Kitchen Curtains are way too high for them to reach. I probably need to buy a new set of kitchen curtains to replace the old curtains. Aside from replacing the kitchen curtains, I also need to buy curtains for the bathrooms and bedrooms. Decorating the house is very important but this can wait until we have the crawler fixed first.
