Winning! Who doesn’t love to win anyway? I love online contest and giveaways especially if I win but not all the time luck is in your side. I blogged last month about me being active temporarily in blogging. I joined a couple of giveaways you know baby steps, then I do some blog hopping here and there. What would you prefer when you travel, drive your own car or rent a car? Meanwhile, there are different forms of transportation to travel from one place to another. Traveling can be done by plane, by car, or by train. Traveling by plane is I think the most convenient and easy way to reach your destination on time. Flight delay may only happen when bad weather occurs or airline problem incident or perhaps some unavoidable situation otherwise. However, if you are on a business trip then renting a car would be convenient. The cost of parking your car in the airport parking space is as expensive as renting a car. The airport parking lot security is strictly monitored but some of us probably don’t like having our precious car out in an open space that might get dent, or damage due to the weather change. My family also experienced driving long hours to Chicago and it was not that pleasant being in the car for that long period of hours. Traveling by train is quiet fast and comfortable but not all places has train running and available. Nevertheless, whatever your preferences when traveling the most important thing is you will enjoy the most out of it.

I read this in one of the Facebook policy but I guess this won’t apply anymore to all Facebook user like me that uses Facebook page to promote my blog posts, reviews and giveaway.

Promoted posts are an easy way to get more people to see your posts. Promoted posts appear higher in News Feed, so there’s a better chance your audience will see them. There are two ways to promote a post: from your personal account and from your Facebook Page.

I have blogged before about my Facebook pages and how the number of likes grow so fast through the help of giveaways sponsorship and blogger event. Facebook are in competition with rivals Google+ and Pinterest. Then, I kind of MIA in a while virtually and neglected to promote my Facebook pages, blog posts, Alexa rank and giveaways. Just recently I started getting active again and updated all my Facebook pages. I have noticed that the number of Likes in all my Facebook pages are decreasing. I am not the only one noticing this problem. In fact one of a blogger friend asked if we noticed some changes in our Facebook likes. I disabled the syndication feeds because every time I posted on my Facebook page status, the number of likes also decreasing this is based on observation.

We are all aware how Facebook undergone many changes, and not all of the Facebook users accepted it while some embraced it with open mind. Then, I just heard from fellow blogger that when you send message to someone in Facebook which is not in your friend list, a payment of $1 is required. This is shocking eh! It’s no secret that a lot of stay-at-home mom/dad, freelancer writer and students are making money online through their blog. Blogging is an online journal but for webmaster who knows a lot about marketing, seo and stuffs, it is more than just a journal. There are more to it in blogging than just writing and babbling about the everyday life. But since the number of bloggers are getting higher, the opportunity is getting smaller and cheaper. Some bloggers including myself that have been blogging for more than 3 years have already tired maintaining an up to date blog. Consequently, if you do not update your blog and promote it, the lesser opportunity you will get. I have been on and off in blogging and all of the blogs I have manage have lost its page rank, the alexa rank went high, and the opportunity is getting lesser. Part of my head says stop blogging but the other half doesn’t agreed. How I’m gonna give away my dozens of blog domain? I have worked in the past years to build up my blog and giving them away is a waste. So, once again I am back and trying to keep up with the online stuffs. This is just temporary because i am not so sure when I’m gonna MIA again. 5 Things I need to do as a blogger to get back on track and my blogging mojo.

* Bloghopping. Visiting other blogs will inspire you to update your blog. Join different blog hopping meme and comment exchange to drive traffic to your website and at the same time lower the number of your alexa rank.

* Link Building or Exchange link. Comment while blog hopping so your website link will spread out all over the blogland thus get backlinks. You can also update your link list and delete the old website that is not active anymore.

* Update your blog. Updating the blog and writing unique article would help drive traffic and readers. There are a lot of freelance writer that wish to publish their work on other blog as a way of getting backlinks.

* Product Reviews. Doing product reviews is the new thing in blogging. Try pitching different advertiser for a product sample in exchange of product review. This advert will also help promote your website by sharing it to their social network.

* Take every opportunity. This is a reminder to myself. I’ve been rejecting a lot of moolah opps and some of them just got expired. I have to write whatever offer and opps on or before the due date so the money won’t be wasted.

Cameras – Blogger Needs & Perks

I assume you already know about blogging, blog and other related stuffs including all the how’s. As a blogger what are the perks you get from it? It’s no secret for me the reason why I blog and enjoy blogging. Money!!! I want to earn and as a SAHM and stranger to this new place that I now call home, online work is the only answer to what I want. Am so grateful to the person that introduced me to this blogging thing. I was never skeptical that there is money online but husband was. Nonetheless, after couple of months building my blog I started to received offers and opportunity then my husband saw it so he decided to join the ride. The first couple of years of my blogging endeavor it was the husband who controlled most of the earning and we shared 50/50 every time we withdrew cash. Our blogging savings went to the family needs. Anyway, that money (photo above) were part of my blogging earning back then.

A lot! Besides all the personal things I shopped online, I also able to buy new camera from the money I earned through blogging. Pictures speak a thousand words and it’s more convincing than just words thus putting photo on your post is important. A camera is a must-have tool for every blogger. Three of the cameras (photo below) such DSLR, Samsung and Sony were some of the perks I got from blogging. I also gave to my sister one of the cool camera (Fujifilm FinePix).

Unfortunately, because of my carelessness my Sony digicam broke. I was fooling around taking pictures when I lost my balance and fell on the ground big time. The Kodak camera however was a gift from MIL and I’ve been using it for years since I started with all my blogs.
